Corrections policy
Accuracy matters more than preserving an error. When a concern is raised, the relevant claim, source and wording should be reviewed together.
What to include
A useful correction report identifies the article URL, the passage in question, the proposed correction and any supporting primary source. Please avoid sending private medical records or unnecessary personal information.
How changes are handled
A small spelling or formatting fix may be made without a correction note. A material factual correction should carry a clear note explaining what changed, alongside an honest update date. If a claim cannot be supported, it should be removed or qualified rather than disguised with a different source.
